Assignment 10
This video tells the story of a young girl and it appears that she lives in modern day Asia. It is obvious that she is deaf and that she is bullied by her peers. Although she gives up hope on playing the violin, an older man (the one playing the violin on the street), who is possibly deaf, helps her regain her self confidence. The climax of the story occurs as we see her appear on stage with her shattered violin. Even though this young girl struggles on the outside, it also forces her to struggle with herself. The irony in this story is that the young girl amazed the audience at the competition and probably got higher scores than the other girl who was so mean to her. This entire story represents that if you belive in yourself, anything is possible.
